Threads of Imagination is an inspirational shop for textile art, craft and needlecraft supplies. Visitors to the shop will find an exciting range of products to delight and inspire their creativity. Bead enthusiasts are also well catered for with sparkling array of quality beads including many unusual designs from Czechoslovakia.
City and Guilds, Textile and Fashion students are well catered for with an ever increasing range of fibres, dyes and paints along with the ever popular Tyveks, Angelina and Markal Oil Paint Sticks. There is always something new to see and try.
We aim to provide an excellent customer service and love to help customers find the right product for their projects. We are happy to give advice and always willing to take time to demonstrate or discuss any of our product range and will do our best to source any items customers may be seeking or offer suitable alternatives.
We also offer workshops and demonstrations on a range of multi media subjects all taught in our own workshop. The workshops are limited to small numbers ensuring each participant has full opportunity to explore and learn. We also offer 'one-to-one' tuition sessions on a particular subject, tailor made to the customers requirements.
For customers unable to get to the shop on a regular basis we have an ever developing web site. While it does not feature the full range of items available in the shop new products are being added all the time and web customers are welcome to contact us directly with any enquiries regarding products and their use.

Threads of Imagination is situated in Old Cwmbran which is close to Cwmbran Town Centre.
There are several buses that pass through Old Cwmbran including Stagecoach services 23 and 15 from Newport and X3 from Cardiff.
There is also a train station in Cwmbran. If traveling by car, follow Cwmbran Drive until the turn off for Cwmbran Stadium and then follow the signs for Old Cwmbran.
Threads of Imagination is situated on Victoria Street, not far from the Memorial Clock. There is a large free car park 3 minutes walk away which you can enter via the doctors surgery on Victoria Street.
